Plans & billing
Current pricing, subscription management, and downgrades.
For current plan names, prices, limits, and feature comparisons, see the Mapize pricing page. The pricing page reads from the same plan configuration Mapize uses to enforce account limits, so it is the source of truth.
Upgrading
Choose a plan on the pricing page to open secure Stripe Checkout. Promo codes are accepted. Your plan unlocks as soon as checkout completes.
Managing your subscription
Open Account settings, select Billing, and use Manage billing to open the Stripe billing portal. From there you can update your card, switch between monthly and annual billing, view invoices, and cancel at any time.
Canceling keeps paid access until the end of the current billing period. Prior charges aren't refunded.
What happens if you downgrade
- Maps beyond the new plan's saved-map limit become read-only — never deleted. Choose which maps stay active, or upgrade again to unfreeze them.
- Maps that exceed the new plan's locations-per-map limit remain available but may need to be reduced before they can be republished.
- Features unavailable on the new plan, such as live sync, private visibility, or badge removal, become unavailable.
- If a payment fails, access continues during Stripe's automatic retries. The account is downgraded only if payment ultimately can't be collected.
- A refund or chargeback moves the account back to Free immediately.
See Organizing your maps for how frozen maps behave on the dashboard, or return to the pricing page for the current comparison.
