Map styling

A good-looking map before you touch a setting.

Mapize color-codes your data, clusters dense areas, fits the view, and adds a legend on its own. Then every choice is yours to change.

Style

Color and size by your data.

  • Color by any column

One color per category with per-value overrides, or a numeric color scale.

  • Size by any number

Scale markers by any numeric column.

  • Eight shapes, three sizes

Pin, solid pin, circle, square, diamond, triangle, star, or hexagon. Small, medium, or large.

Legibility

Density, handled.

  • Clustering switches on automatically past about 400 points, and you can toggle it any time.
  • Heat map view shows density, optionally weighted by a numeric column.
  • Show or hide the legend with one switch.
  • Light or dark basemap.

Filters

Filters that answer questions.

Stack multiple filters with text conditions (is, is not, is any of, contains, is empty) and number conditions (at least, at most, between). The map updates live with a “Showing X of Y points” count. Popups show the title and the fields you choose.
