Quick answers to the questions that come up most.

Import & geocoding

My Google Sheet won't connect. Google Sheets connections require Pro or Pro Plus, an available live-map slot, and a sheet shared so anyone with the link can read it. On Free or Lite, download the sheet as CSV or paste its rows instead. See Live data with Google Sheets.

Some rows didn't show up on the map. They're in the Attention tray with a reason — usually no usable address, coordinates out of range, or an empty row. Fix the address in your source and re-import, or exclude the row. See Importing your data.

A pin is in the wrong place or says "Approximate location." The address was geocoded with low confidence. Use a more complete address including street, city, state, and ZIP, or provide latitude/longitude columns to place points exactly.

How many rows can I import and map? A file import can contain up to 50,000 rows, and files up to 10,000 rows are the recommended range for smooth browser processing. Saved locations per map are plan-limited: Free 50, Lite 250, Pro 1,000, and Pro Plus 5,000.

Sharing & embedding

My embed won't load on my site. Only the embed view can be placed on another website; the regular share-link view can't be framed. Use the snippet from the Embed tab. See Embedding a map.

My old link stopped working. Rotating a link issues a new URL and retires the old one. Revoking it turns off the map and all its embeds. See Sharing your map.

My map is showing up in Google. Public is the default visibility for new maps, and public maps may be indexed. Change the visibility to Unlisted or Private on Pro or Pro Plus if you do not want the map indexed.

My map isn't showing up in Google. Only Public maps are intended to be indexed. Unlisted and Private maps are excluded.

Can I remove the "Made with Mapize" badge? Yes, on Pro or Pro Plus. Enable badge removal in Account settings. See Plans & billing.

Account & plans

Google Sheets says I need to upgrade. Google Sheets connections, including manual connections, require Pro or Pro Plus. Download the sheet as CSV or paste its rows to create a static map on Free or Lite.

I downgraded — where did my maps go? Nothing is deleted. Maps beyond the new plan's limit become read-only until you upgrade or choose which maps remain active. See Organizing your maps.

How do I cancel? Open Account settings, select Billing, and use Manage billing to open the Stripe portal. Access continues to the end of the paid period. See Plans & billing.
