Embedding a map

Drop a live, interactive map into your own website.

Embed a live Mapize map inside your own website with a copy-paste snippet. Open the Share dialog and switch to the Embed tab.

The dialog builds an <iframe> snippet for you. As you flip options, the snippet updates — copy it and paste it into your page's HTML.

Two starting presets:

  • Standard map — your interactive map.
  • Store locator — adds a location search, radius, and a results list, ideal for a "find us" page.

Options

  • Controls — show or hide zoom, filter, search, and fullscreen buttons.
  • Legend — show, hide, or follow the map's own setting.
  • Lock the view — freeze the pan/zoom so visitors can't move the map.
  • Size — set the width (pixels or %) and height (pixels).

The "Made with Mapize" attribution is always shown in embeds. Removing it requires the Solo plan (see Plans & billing).

Good to know

  • Embeds work on any site — the embed view is the one place a Mapize map can be framed by another domain.
  • If you rotate or revoke the share link, existing embeds update or stop working accordingly (see Sharing your map).
  • If an embed shows a rate-limit screen, it's had an unusually high burst of traffic from one visitor; it recovers on its own.
