Live data with Google Sheets
Keep a map in sync with a Google Sheet, manually or daily.
Connect a Google Sheet so your map updates as the sheet changes — no re-uploading. Google Sheets connections require Pro or Pro Plus.
Connect a sheet
- Go to Connected sources while signed in.
- Choose Google Sheets and pick the map or dataset to connect.
- Make sure the sheet is shared as Anyone with the link, then paste the link.
- Click Connect & sync. Mapize reads the sheet, matches its columns, and runs the first refresh.
On each refresh, Mapize re-reads the sheet, so edits, added rows, and removed rows flow through to the map.
Refresh cadence
- Manual — refresh on demand on plans that include Google Sheets connections.
- Daily — Mapize refreshes automatically once a day on Pro and Pro Plus.
Free and Lite do not include Google Sheets connections, including manual connections. To make a static map on those plans, download the sheet as CSV and upload the file, or paste its rows into Mapize.
Other connectors
Salesforce, HubSpot, and Zoho CRM are coming soon. They appear as Coming soon tiles and aren't connectable yet.
Notes
- A connection needs an available live-map slot on Pro or Pro Plus.
- Pasting a Google Sheet URL into Mapize is not available on Free. Downloading the sheet as CSV or pasting its rows remains available.
- If a sheet can't be read, it usually isn't shared publicly — see FAQ & Troubleshooting.
