Getting Started
The spreadsheet-to-map basics, start to finish.
Mapize turns a spreadsheet into an interactive map in about a minute — no setup and no login required to start.
What you can do
- Upload a spreadsheet or paste rows to map every location.
- Style and filter the map to highlight what matters.
- Share a public link, embed the map on your site, or export it.
- Connect a Google Sheet on Pro or Pro Plus to keep a map updated.
The core flow
- Add your data. On the home page, upload a CSV or Excel file, or paste rows from a spreadsheet. Google Sheet URL connections require Pro or Pro Plus.
- Check the match. Mapize automatically detects address or latitude/longitude columns and a name for each marker. Confirm or adjust the mapping.
- Make the map. Addresses are geocoded to points; rows that already have coordinates plot instantly.
- Style and explore. Color points by category, cluster them, or filter the map.
- Save and share. Sign in to save the map to your account, then share a link or get an embed snippet.
Do I need an account?
You can build a map without signing in. You need a Free account to save a map and copy a share link. Free includes one saved map with up to 50 locations. Lite, Pro, and Pro Plus increase map limits and add other capabilities. See Plans & billing.
